Why our AI products run on our own servers
Nexxus products answer personal questions about money, nutrition and habits. Software like that only works if you can trust it. That is why we make one decision before the first line of code: the data stays in Europe, on servers we run ourselves.
Why host in the EU?
Most apps you use every day keep their data with a handful of US cloud corporations. That is convenient, but it also means foreign law, foreign interests and business models in which your data is the goods. We do it differently: Nexxus products run on servers in Germany. For you that means the GDPR is not the small print but the foundation of the architecture.
What that means in practice
Servers in Germany
Our infrastructure runs at Hetzner in Nuremberg and Falkenstein, with no US cloud service in the data path.
No trackers, no advertising
This website loads nothing from third parties: no analytics scripts, no ad networks, not even fonts from someone else’s server.
No data trading
Your data is neither sold nor analysed for other purposes.
An account that is yours
Nexxus ID is our own sign-in system, run by us: passwordless, with data export and account deletion right in the account portal.
Privacy as a feature, not a footnote
“GDPR-compliant” is easy to write. We build it in visibly: every database table is protected from day one by access rules ensuring each user can only see their own data. Access requests (Art. 15) and deletion (Art. 17) are not support tickets but functions in the portal.
Why we do this
Because software has to be possible another way. Nexxus is a small, independent family of products for finance, nutrition, community and more, with one shared foundation: everything we build runs on our own servers in Germany.
